Persistant Wrecktangles

WrecktanglesI thought my vision of what I wanted to create was clear.  I put my pencil to paper and started to draw rectangles.  However, after a few minutes, I stood back and realized I had a page full of them that lay before me like a big collision.  The wisp of my original vision completely lost in the wreck.

I was stymied.  Completely stopped short.  Usually when I draw, it just flows from me, but this time I was going to have to work for it.  For just a moment I thought of erasing and starting over, but I am a stubborn person, and that drop of doubt evaporated in the heat of determination.

Not giving up. Persistence.  It’s there, we just have to work for it.
